A snapshot at famous authors: Part 1

Saki-
Hector Hugh Munro went by the pen name Saki.
He was born December 18, 1870 and died November 13, 1916.
Some of his famous works are The Interlopers, The Toys of Peace, The Storyteller, and The East Wing. An interesting fact is he started as a writer for newspapers and he was raised by his grandmother and aunt because his mother died at a miscarriage. He was homosexual.

Edgar Allan Poe -
Edgar Allan Poe was born January 19 1809 and died October 7, 1849. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Some of his works include The Black Cat, The Raven, Annabel Lee, and The Tell-Tale Heart. Poe's death is a mystery.  Several days before his death he was found on the streets of Baltimore in distress. He was taken to the hospital where he died days later on October 7th. What is weird is Poe was not wearing his clothes when they were on the streets and the night of his death he kept calling out the name "Reynolds". All medical records of his death have been lost too.
